IN THE TENEMENT HOUSE
FROM THE 19TH CENTURY
 

This space was already known to us! We designed the interior of apartment exactly one floor above.

The twin suite was now to be the office of a small firm: a law firm, an MP's  office, perhaps a consulate. The different functions did not allow us to follow the "worn traces", although the main goal, which was to create an ergonomic and comfortable work space for modern users, while preserving the traces of the atmosphere from 100 years ago, remained the same.

Despite the small space, it was possible to create two non-intersecting communication routes for customers and employees, which significantly improves the comfort of work in the case of an office. We also restored all traces of a given life: doors, stucco, plaster and tiled stoves. The resulting space is very different from the "MTV studio" aesthetic of the 1990s and 1980s commonly used in office design nowadays.
